FA Junior Football Organiser Course
JFO course is a minimum 6 hour FA Certificate course for students 14 – 19 years. The course focuses around mini-soccer, where students learn coaching, the rules, refereeing and all that is involved in organising a festival/tournament.
The culmination of the course and assessment is the students having to organise and run their own mini-soccer festival. The course provides students with core organisational and communication skills.
A JFO course can be used in conjunction with the curriculum, and provides exit routes to further involvement within football, e.g. Coaching (Level 1) or Refereeing.

FA Level 1 In Coaching Football
The Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football (L1CCF) is awarded in partnership with The Football Association and is the first step towards becoming a recognised Football Coach.
This course has now replaced the Junior Team Managers (JTM) Course. This Level 1 vocationally related qualification provides you with an opportunity to study and be assessed in both practical and theoretical aspects of coaching football at this level.
The certificate qualifies you to coach grass roots club teams for children and young people under the supervision of a qualified Football Coach.

FA Level 2 In Coaching Football
Awarded in partnership with The F.A., the Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football is the next step towards becoming a recognised Football Coach.
This Course replaces the Coaching Certificate/UEFA 'B' Part 1 qualification.
The Certificate offers candidates a combination of practical experience and class-based theory, to develop an understanding of the planning, conducting and evaluation of ethical football coaching sessions.

Referee Course
Referee Courses are available for those wanting to operate as a Club Referee or for Managers, Coaches and Players who simply want to increase their knowledge of the Laws of the Game.
Specialised courses are also run for mini soccer. The full Referees qualification is designed solely for those who intend to referee 11-a-side football on a regular basis.

Level 1 Award In Sports Leadership
The award is a nationally recognised qualification that helps people over the age of 14 develop their leadership skills. It's a fun course and offers an insight into the enjoyment one can gain through sports leadership.
The syllabus fosters generic skills, which can be applied to a variety of different sporting activities as well as contributing to the candidates personal and social education. It's a practical qualification where candidates learn through doing, rather than through written work. A candidate's ability as a competent leader is assessed by observation rather than written tests.
The award is a fantastic way of delivering elements of the Physical Education National Curriculum at Key Stage 4. As well as this, the generic aspects of leadership taught by the award complement many of the Governments objectives of the Citizenship N.C. requirements. These include: Developing skills for enquiry and communication and Developing skills for participation and responsible action.
PSHE elements include: Developing confidence and responsibility, Developing a healthier, safer lifestyle, Developing good relationships and Respecting the differences between people.

Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership
The Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership gives people aged 16 upwards the skills needed to plan and deliver safe sporting and recreational activities. The Award develops vital leadership skills such as communication, organisation and motivation, whilst instilling the confidence and desire in people to make a difference within their own communities.
The qualification is practical in nature, with an emphasis on learning through doing and applying knowledge, rather than through theory.

Level 3 Award In Higher Sports Leadership
The Sports Leaders UK Level 3 Award in Higher Sports builds upon the leadership skills and experience gained through the Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership. This course gives students the opportunity to learn new skills, to work with specialist community groups, and is of value to all those who wish to further develop their coaching skills.
As a nationally recognised qualification it is an excellent stepping stone to Higher/Further Education or voluntary or paid work in the sports development, leisure management, teaching and sports coaching sectors.
